Yo, yo, yo, what’s up, my people? If you’ve been out here grinding in VALORANT, I’ve got some news for you, and trust me, y’all gonna want to hear this. Patch 9.11 is coming at us, and God damn, it’s gonna shake things up! We’ve got Neon getting nerfed (yep, you read that right) and some nice tweaks for the rest of the gang. Let’s break it down real quick.

Neon Nerfs – Oh, she’s getting some hits, bro. Here’s the rundown:

  1. Slide Charges: You know how Neon’s been sliding all over the place like she’s on roller skates? Yeah, that’s coming down from two charges to just one. One, bro. That’s gonna slow her down a bit.
  2. Accuracy While Sliding: She won’t be landing shots as clean while sliding anymore. It’s gonna be like crouching and moving now, still better than before, but not that pinpoint laser we’ve been seeing.
  3. Ultimate Duration: The big one. Her ultimate’s gonna get shortened up, though they’re being a bit hush-hush on the exact numbers. Basically, you won’t be zooming around forever. Shorter window, tighter gameplay.
  4. Ultimate Cost: Yep, that ultimate charge? It’s going up from 7 to 8 points. So, you’ll have to grind a bit more for that one, fam.

Alright, we all saw this coming, but hey, at least it’s not a full-on “goodbye” to Neon, right? Still, she’ll be feeling the burn.

Vyse Buffs – Now for some love for Vyse. The devs are throwing in some quality-of-life updates, so we’re talking about those sweet Razor Vine buffs. We don’t have all the juicy details yet, but it’s looking like Vyse might just get a little more dangerous in the next couple of patches.

Ping System Overhaul – This one’s gonna make life easier for you, trust. Here’s what’s changing:

  • Minimap Pings: Y’all can no longer ping stuff on the minimap that appears in the real world. RIP to those “I’m dead but still gonna ping everything” moments.
  • Ping Through Smoke: That’s right, no more pings through smoke, fam. If you’re trying to ping something while you’re chillin’ in smoke, you gotta be at the edge of it now.
  • New Ping Sound: A whole new sound for pings on the map. It’s about time they upgraded that, right?
  • Custom Game Option: Don’t like the new ping changes? No stress, you can still roll with the old system in custom games.

That’s all the juicy deets we got for now, but stay tuned ‘cause you know Riot’s always keeping things spicy. Catch y’all in the game!
